ANZ has transformed four prominent ATMs in Auckland and Wellington into ‘GAYTMs’ in support of diversity and inclusion. Gallery artist Reuben Paterson was invited to participate in the project and transformed ANZ’s ATM on Ponsonby Road into a vibrant GAYTM entitled Freedom Flowers. For those who are not ANZ customers you can still use GAYTMs with all non-ANZ card transaction fees being donated to OUTlineNZ. GAYTMs are located at 312 Ponsonby Road, 122 Karangahape Road, and 45 Queen Street in Auckland, and 22 Willis Street in Wellington. You can find out more about the project here.

The installation of New Zealand’s largest public sculpture Fanfare, created by Gallery artist Neil Dawson, is currently underway in Christchurch. The 24-metre high and 20-metre wide sculpture is positioned at the northern entrance to the city and celebrates Christchurch’s re-birth after the devastating 2010 and 2011 earthquakes. You can read more Fanfare and its installation here.
