Elizabeth Thomson and Reuben Paterson

A two room installation of Reuben Paterson‘s dazzling glitter paintings and sculptures has opened at Corban Estate Arts Centre in Henderson, Auckland. This exhibition, entitled Seasoned Pass, involves the blending of modern kitsch and customary Maori patterns in Reuben’s trademark medium of glitter to explore social and cultural issues. As part of this exhibition, Reuben will host a glitter art workshop for children on Saturday 14 March from 10.30am – 12.00pm. Read more about the exhibition here.

Elizabeth Thomson is included in the Kermadec: 9 Artists from the South Pacific exhibition now showing at Tjibaou Cultural Centre in New Caledonia until 28 June 2015.
